"The Wizard of the Emerald City" got supported by Cinema Fund after Spring Pitch of leading Russian cinema-production companies. Project was highly acclaimed by members of Scriptwriter’s Group and Expert Council.

Adaptation of the famous children's novel by Alexander Volkov (a re-narration of L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz) will be produced by Kinoslovo, Central Partnership and CGF. Principal Photography of the large-scale project with сutting-edge CG technologies will start in 2023. The movie will be directed by Igor Voloshin and is expected to be released in cinemas in 2024.
